Diane has almost 20 years of experience in state and local income/franchise taxes, including planning, implementation, compliance, refund review and audit defense, and considerable experience in managing large, complex engagements. She also has extensive experience with state tax issues and planning relating to mergers, acquisitions and other corporate reorganizations, and significant experience with multi-state real property transfer taxes and other miscellaneous taxes. Diane's state and local tax knowledge is supplemented by her federal income tax experience derived from her years of work at a New York City law firm.

Before joining Grant McCarthy Group, LLP, Diane was a partner in the State and Local Tax ("SALT") practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP responsible for leading the SALT Vision practice in the New York Metro area. This group focused on identifying, developing and implementing state tax strategies designed to minimize state corporate income/franchise taxes. During that time, Diane also served as the lead state tax partner on several Fortune 100 companies. Before joining PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Diane worked for over 6 years with a New York City law firm in the federal and state/local tax areas.

Diane has an LL.M and J.D. from New York University School of Law, and a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania. She has written several articles and co-authored a BNA Tax Management Portfolio.
